Free Slasher Films

Slasher Films are a distinctive sub-genre of horror that primarily emerged in the 1970s and peaked in popularity during the 1980s. Slasher films typically revolve around a psychopathic killer who systematically terrorizes and kills a group of protagonists, often teenagers, in a remote or confined setting. This genre is characterized by a high body count, employing graphic violence as its primary tool for generating scares. A predecessor to slasher films are Giallo movies from Italy, and we feature some of those movies here as well. The greatest Giallo director is Italian director Dario Argento, and many of his films are available for free online.
