Bing Crosby
Bing Crosby was one of the most beloved American entertainers of the 20th century. Born in Tacoma, Washington in 1903, Crosby began his career as a crooner in the 1920s. With his smooth, warm voice, he quickly became one of the most popular singers of his time. In addition to his music career, Crosby was also a successful actor, appearing in numerous films throughout the 1930s, 40s, and 50s. He starred in over 50 films including the acclaimed Going My Way (1944) and its sequel, The Bells of St. Mary's (1945). He was also known for his collaborations with his friend Bob Hope, starring in over a dozen films with him.
