Movie Description
The Last Unicorn is a 1982 animated fantasy film about a solitary unicorn aspiring to find the rest of her kind. After discovering that she might be the last unicorn in the world, she leaves her forest home and travels across a magical landscape filled with a cast of fantastical creatures and characters. Along the way, she encounters a hapless magician named Schmendrick, the hardened Molly Grue, and the villainous King Haggard, who is rumored to have trapped the unicorns. The story is based on the 1968 novel written by Peter S. Beagle. The animation team of Arthur Rankin Jr. and Jules Bass produced and directed the film. The cast of voices includes Mia Farrow, Alan Arkin, Angela Lansbury, Jeff Bridges, and Christopher Lee.
