Sugar Hill is a 1974 blaxploitation horror film directed by Paul Maslansky. Diana "Sugar" Hill, played by Marki Bey, seeks vengeance after her boyfriend is murdered by mobsters. To exact her revenge, Sugar enlists the help of Mama Maitresse, a voodoo queen, and Baron Samedi, a voodoo god, as they raise an army of zombies from the preserved bodies of slaves. She sets her undead soldiers on those who wronged her. Critics found the movie to be a humorous good time.
