Movie Description
Standing Ovation is a 2010 musical comedy film directed by Stewart Raffill. The film centers around friends who form a dance and singing troupe named "The 5 Ovations". They enter a national music video contest hoping to win the grand prize to solve their financial difficulties. However, they must face off against their rivals, "The Wiggies," a wealthy and spoiled group who will stop at nothing to win. The film is filled with youthful energy, catchy tunes, and dance sequences. Stewart Raffill also directed the cult classic films Mac and Me (1988) and Tammy and the T-Rex (1994).
