Madame Bovary is a 2014 romantic drama film directed by Sophie Barthes. Based on Gustave Flaubert's classic 1856 novel, the film stars Mia Wasikowska as Emma Bovary, a young woman who marries a small-town doctor, Charles Bovary (Henry Lloyd-Hughes).
